"Therapeutic & Fun"

Serious about ceramics?

Yes, we are, but we never forget that working with clay should be therapeutic, endlessly inspiring and always fun!

Pottery has been a passion here in Andalucía, southern Spain, for thousands of years. To hold a lump of clay, form and shape it, decorate and colour it, subject it to extreme heat, let it cool and then enjoy your creation forever is magical.

Our first pottery school opened in the Andalucían countryside near Alora in 2005, and soon attracted not only local students but also aspiring potters from countries as diverse as Finland, Russia, Israel and Kuwait.

In 2013 we moved to a new, larger studio on the Costa del Sol where we continue to enjoy meeting and working with students of all nationalities and abilities. We are easy to find, close to Marbella on the A7 coast road.

Our fun and friendly pottery flexi-classes will inspire you to experiment with a wide range of pottery hand building techniques including pinch pots, coil pots, slab building, sculpture, use of molds and of course decoration using texture, glazes and engobes.

These classes are suitable for adults of all abilities and beginners are especially welcome!

We also offer pottery wheel throwing tuition.

For newcomers our hands-on Beginners Throwing Classes equip you with the basic skills you need to centre the clay and throw cylinders, leaving you ready to progress to our small group flexi-classes where with shared tuition you will consolidate those skills and progress to "turning" the bottoms of your pots, adding handles and embellishments and, of course, throwing larger pieces.

If you just want to come along, have a go on the wheel and make a (probably chunky and possibly wonky) pot rather than actually learn the skills, we also offer a 2½-hour Fun Wheel Experience!
